Co-Founder Joe Neylon Completes an 11 Year Camino Journey!
After 11 years of completing the Camino in stages with a close friend, +AddJust Co-Founder Joe Neylon has reached the finish line. A journey of friendship, perseverance and shared memories. Congratulations, Joe!
Some journeys are about reaching a destination. Others are about the people you share them with, the memories you make along the way, and the commitment to keep going, even when life gets busy and the journey is tough.
For Joe Neylon, Director and Co-Founder of +AddJust, the Camino de Santiago has been a journey like no other. Over the course of 11 years, Joe and a close friend have returned to the Camino, taking on the route in stages and gradually working towards one shared goal: completing the journey together.
Rather than completing the 33 days of the Camino in one continuous trip, they made it a long term commitment, fitting each stage around the demands of everyday life, family & business. Over the years, the journey became more than a walking challenge ( and that was hard enough!!). It became a tradition, an opportunity to reconnect, and a reminder of the value of making time for the things that matter. As well as its challenges, The Camino is known for bringing people together from all walks of life. For Joe, it offered the chance to experience that sense of connection while building ever lasting memories that stretched far beyond the miles covered ( and the blisters and damaged ankles).
After 11 years and 5 trips, of taking it one step at a time, reaching the finish line was a meaningful milestone, not simply because the journey was complete, but because of everything it represented: friendship, perseverance, and the importance of seeing something through.

Joe’s Camino journey is a lovely reminder that progress doesn’t always happen all at once. Sometimes, it’s about taking the next step, making time for the people around you, and continuing the journey together.
